I got some question about the A1 of grade 6.the quaver is with smoothly or shortly?

I have been told to slur the first two quavers and lightly detach the second two of the bar. This helps to give a dance feel as it brings out the first beat of the bar.

I did A1 last year...Not too bad.
I played the quavers a little detached as they are meant for harpsichord.
Nica piece.I got 26/30.
I only hate the B3.
