Is anyone else having problems with this? I seem to be going round in circles with mine. I have my user ID and my password and each time I try to log in it fails. I have been talking to the helpdesk many times and they keep sending me new passwords etc and still nothing will let me log in. rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. I didn't leave it to the last minute either. This has been going on for weeks.

Yes there are lots of number and letters in this process, so are you sure you are putting in the right userid and password? Of course you are!!!!
OK, take a deep breath....and try again
The userid is the 12 digit number that came from government gateway (that threw me at first, that is wasn't one of the Inland Revenue numbers). The password has 12 alphanumeric characters, the first 6 are those quoted over the phone, the next 6 are sent by email. Everytime you request a new password you get two new sets of 6 alphanumerics.
I submitted mine a couple of weeks ago. It took several goes, but all the mistakes were due to my own misunderstanding of the complex login process.
