I'd like to learn to play Tango by Albeniz and I can see online that it's in a book called First Solos for the Clarinet Player. I called into a music shop at the weekend but they didn't have it, and I'd like to know what level it is before buying it. Does anyone have this book and can give me some idea of the level? Thanks smile.gif

Skylark you inbox is full (I think)

I haven't got First Solos for Clarinet but a well known internet music shop have it listed as intermediate (grade 4 to 6) and in their description say 'Transcribed by Eric Simon. The 21 compositions have not been abridged or facilitated, they are short, easy (though the book is progressive and some later pieces present more of a challege) and in their original version. Piano accompaniment with separate clarinet part.'

It looks to have a nice range of music in it.
