What have you got, Ratty? I'm starving!
petrat
Mar 5 2009, 10:27 PM
Hi Sue. We've got goat curry and rice or chips, faggots and peas and veggie lasagne with salad. There's a big plate of olives too but if we are quick she'll not notice.

Mar 5 2009, 10:29 PM
I'll have the curry thanks. Mmmm, unusual texture to this meat....

I've already eaten Ratty. Good evening by the way everyone.
I love stuffed olives, especially with orange, almonds or sun dried tomatoes.

Hiya Bev

I'm beginning to come round to olives...
I think a curry sounds nice...
I like curry.

Passes Olive's plate to Bev.
Any news old bean?
SueHM

Watch it, Olive's just come out of the Ladies. She's vicious when she's had a few. You'd better put that plate back PDQ.

Mar 5 2009, 10:36 PM
No great news Ratty. I have been practising Handel's Sonata in A minor today. The miner wasn't so keen on it though.
I am getting to grips with it. The notes are not hard, but it needs careful phrasing I think. My teacher says it has "vamp". That sounds right up May's street.
A large scotch please.
How is everyone??
Why are you going round to Olive's Barry?
SueHM
Mar 5 2009, 10:40 PM
I'm somewhat punch-drunk - been to the school play (Euripides - The Trojan Women) to watch offspring in action. Non-stop death and misery, real tears from several of the players - uplifting it was not! I'm actually rather impressed by the whole thing. Would prefer not to have to sit through it again in 2 days time, but parental-front-row-seat duty has to be seen to be done!
Well, fellow elderly haricots, shall we have another round?
petrat
Mar 5 2009, 10:41 PM
Quick, run. Olive is after us!
The Old Lady
Mar 5 2009, 10:42 PM
Stand firm Ratty. In the face of Olive in full flow...........grab the loo roll and be firm.
SueHM
Mar 5 2009, 10:44 PM
*sticks foot out as Olive strides past. Olive lands face down in goat curry*

Afraid not old flower pot. It's all on Olive's floor. Barry dropped it when he went chasing round there. That Jimmy chap is there too.
I've just had a scotch, and someone was drinking blue beard's beer. Other than that, everything is perfectly normal.
