Aaaaaaw!! Those rat pics are soooo cuuuute!!!! (they are rather like some of mine too.) The black and the silver ones are very like some I had a few years back - called Ebony and Silver and the hooded is also like some I've had.

Wow! Thanks so much folks for the birthday wishes, the super rat pics and that wonderful ratty cake from Daisy. I am not quite so sure about yours Bev old bean. I think that you may have miscounted a little. And to whoever made the comment about me being that old, well, yes I am but have rather stuck at the mental age of twenty-seven. I have had a super day with a morning of shopping and King Rat's bank card while he was in a rather important meeting, a dash back home and then out to the opening of a new church hall that our choir raised funds for last year, a dash bact to lessons as usual and then home to my chickens and other animals, all of whom sent me cards by the way. I am going to have a very early night and then am out for grub somewhere with King Rat tomorrow. The cake was lovely!!!

That wasn't me old flower, it was May.

I'll send in Addy and Lavvy to throw things at her have a word!

I hope that's remotely right - I did one semester of Welsh at University a good few years ago, so it's probably totally wrong... The end bit was about as near as I could get to 'me dear' this early in the morning and with mutations to cope with !

Perhaps "mon cherie" means something a little different in France?
