I just found out today that they will be offering MUSIC A-LEVEL to next year's lower sixth.

Of course for me,...it is too late because i am upper sixth this year...

But my mum told me that when i'm doing my music diploma, within that 2 1/2 years, i can apply for private tuition for A-level music...

has anyone done this before?

I seriously think i need A-level music if i want to study music performance in the UK later ...

I think i was born at the wrong time! tongue.gif

I am doing AS level music outside school this year and the age grouping in the class of 14 is as follows:

Year 10: 2
Year 11: 2
Year 12: 7
Year 13: 1
Above Year 13: 2

So theoretically yes, it would be possible for you to take A level music later. I know that at least one of the two people above Year 13 are also taking other music courses at the same time.
