Hi,

I recently came across a clarinet, where the sell said it had been "babied". Can anyone tell me what this term means? I've tried to do my own research, but without any luck.

Best wishes

A poor effort! I don’t think it accurately reflects the regurgitative skills of the average baby!

Nothing to do with clarinets. It just means it's been very well looked after.

Why don't you think the kids were let anywhere near my oboe and Cor Anglais when they were under 5!

Perish the thought!
