Last night, Lizzy Violin came and joined our orchestra
She did really well, as it's half way through the term.
We are doing Holst, and Coppelia. To be honest, I've got a better chance of dancing Coppelia on point than playing it Our Grade 8'ers are having problems with it.

Strangely enough I met a forumite yesterday too

Yes I will be there next week. I really enjoyed myself.

It's the first time I've ever played violin with anyone else and I did manage to play some of the music, so it gave my confidence a boost.

Any of you guys thinking of joining an orchestra just do it!!!
(especially if you play strings and live in Birmingham)
