Hello, Just wondering how many of you have entries for this session? Whose had results already?

I had one in last Thursday, the woman said the results would be about 3 days huh.gif although last time she said that and the results took six weeks because they lost them laugh.gif Hopefully they wont be longer than four weeks this time.

Hi funkyfairy,

My practical results took two weeks to come back, but it was a special visit, so it was outside of the normal exam sessions. This seems to speed things up considerably.

2 recorder Grade 1 results from a Special Visit took almost three weeks to come back. They both passed well. I entered another eight students at a centre last week so haven't heard about those yet.

Got my fastest results ever - pupil took exam in Colchester Friday 13th and results were online on the evening of Friday 20th, I received certificate in the post on Saturday. Will be interested to see if my Ilford results arrive as quickly, I do hope so as it is nice to let the students know before they break up for the Easter holidays. smile.gif
funkyfairy
Congrats Twinkle Fingers smile.gif

Love your name wabbits!! laugh.gif

Time will tell I guess. It's lovely hearing about everyone's results on here. xx

Result from Jazz exam on the 12th :

Grade 2 jazz piano - Merit 121 - astonishing - my first jazz pupil, and I had serious doubts whether he would even pass. 27 and 26 for two of the pieces, but he inexplicably fell down on aural and the third piece. Will have to see what happened on the comments..

To think I was actually considering withdrawing him a few weeks ago! wacko.gif

Thanks blush.gif

Good stuff!

I'm seeing my TG grade one this evening - her exam is on Monday - it's not looking too good at the moment, but then I'm a hopeless pessimist where my students are concerned! rolleyes.gif

One of my grade 3 clarinets got 86% on her exam. It was with Salford Certificate. I'm very pleased! smile.gif

Well Done Clare and Cambiata!

I remember waiting for my first set of results (last July) pizazz, drove me nuts. Shame it took 6 weeks.

I've just checked mine for results and it says:
A connection with the server could not be established

Following server maintenance, some Applicants may experience problems viewing results. We hope to rectify the problem as soon as possible.

Apologies for any inconvenience caused.

Anyone else's like that?

Three more results, again all with Salford Certificate... two merits (grade 2 and grade 3 clarinet) and a distinction (grade 1 clarinet). biggrin.gif

Well done!! My main batch did their exams this afternoon. All seemed to go OK, so fingers crossed....

Everyone came out looking like this biggrin.gif

Jumping beans! jumpin.gif

The post has just arrived and my pupil has got a merit for her TG Grade One. Boy - does she deserve it as she has worked so hard and I put her in as a late entry when she finally managed to perform the Minuet up to standard. We could have waited until summer for a higher mark but much better I think to let her move on to new things. That way I hope she will always love playing the piano biggrin.gif

Waiting for the AB result now unsure.gif

Grade 1 Piano - 128 (convinced she's failed too!)
Grade 8 Singing - 127 (will be happy with that)
Grade 1 Piano - 117 (should have been merit but nerves got the better of him on the day!)

Very pleased biggrin.gif

Great results, David. biggrin.gif

I'm waiting for mine from the 16th: good set of candidates but a very testing examiner. She knew exactly which the hardest scales were for each grade and asked them all. ohmy.gif

Congrats David. Hope all the results continue to come through so quickly - makes a nice change!

Well done, David - great results, especially the Grade 8! smile.gif

Trinity Guildhall piano exam results. Pupil's took their exams last friday and I got the results this Wednesday.

Grade 1 91 Distinction
Grade 1 75 Merit
Initial exam 75 Merit

Grade 3 jazz sax pupil got a merit biggrin.gif

Just got my results through from 16th March -
Grade 1 - Distinction (wonderful- she had her first lesson the week before Christmas)
Grade 1- Merit (so pleased with her- she is very nervous- doesn't like performing to others- she really had to face her fear to do the exam)
Grade 4 - Merit. I'm pleased with her- she has done an exam every 2 terms and got 127 but I think she'll be disappointed! She's a fantaatic sight reader!!!!

I'm pleased....

Unbelievably fast results here - 7 and 8 days - is this a record?! (My special visit results took just under 3 weeks this term!!)

Grade 2 saxophones - 110 and 114. Both had dodgy rhythm in the pieces I accompanied and I was worried about them - until now!

Grade 2 clarinet - 124

Grade 2 flutes - 116 and 121

Grade 3 flute - 118, and she had been suffering from a sickness bug all week - went in looking green

Grade 3 clarinet - 117

Grade 5 clarinet - 120

I knew they weren't my strongest ever set of candidates so I am thrilled, especially for the Grade 5 pupil, who did so much hard work towards the end. I'm awaiting her Grade 4 theory result now.

So including my recorder results, that makes 7 passes and 3 merits, and most of the passes were high too. Delighted!

125 for my adult Grade 1 recorder pupil, and if she hadn't messed up the rhythm in her first piece and matched her other piece results she'd have got a distinction.

Both of us are delighted.
