Hello, I am a new member from Speyside in Scotland.

I have two musical daughters, daughter no1 has been learning piano from the age of 6, has attained grade 1 with 122 merit (2007) and grade 2, 140 distinction (yesterday), aged 9. She has just started playing a baritone horn at school and doing well.

Daughter no2, aged 6, has just started piano too and is doing well.

I have found the forum advice really useful, and hope by coming on can help others in the same position as myself.

My youngest son (of 5!) has been playing The Spey In Spate so I thought of that right away when I saw this. Hope you don't live so close to it that you get the full force!
