It was wrong first time (and I assume 'your number' means your second number...). Interesting though ... there is an algorithm for doing this 'live' I think, but I don't know how it works online. Any ideas?

You probably weren't concentrating hard enough for the telepathy to work wink.gif

Tried it twice and it worked both times!

Ratty..when you get your second number, look at the symbol that represents that number. Then after 10 seconds, the symbol will flash up before your very eyes..(Or should do anyway! rolleyes.gif ) You don't have to click on anything else once you've got your second number. smile.gif

The answer is always a multiple of 9. The symbols for the nine times table are always the same - although the symbol might be different each time you play the game. That's the symbol it shows you.

Sorry.

Right - I noticed that the symbols repeated, and dimly remembered the bit about multiples of nine, I guess ... just didn't put it all together!

Hope you can cope with using letters for numbers!

If the first digit is x and the second is y, the actual numerical value is 10x+y (think tens and units at school).

You then take away x+y (the sum of the two digits), which leaves a numerical value of 9x. So the answer is always a multiple of 9.

It worked!! I'll try it again to see if the same image comes up...

It stoped loading and I got mad so I clicked it off.
