Don't think I do actually.

Do you have any of the Fiddle Time series? I have Viola Time and I think there are few pieces that could be played together by different instruments....

I've got vitually no music. Just a tutor book and one with short classical pieces in it (which are a bit too difficult). My teacher said that I should use what I have for now and then she'll start me on grade 1 stuff in a couple of weeks - so I imagine I will be getting some more music and I could ask about some easy duets/ensemble pieces. smile.gif
Appassionata
I could bring my violin too if I can carry it, although it's been a while since I played! tongue.gif

There will, as Barry has mentioned, be some informal ensemble playing during the morning and people are welcome to bring things they might want to use for this if there is time. If anybody wants an idea of what instruments will be there then please Pm me and I'll let you know the latest on that.

I'll bring some flutey stuff, and one or two bits of clarinetty stuff for people to use. smile.gif

Yes please, and the recordery stuff you mentioned on the other thread. smile.gif

Will do Flossie : I'll have a good root through my ensemble music, and I'll find some fun stuff! smile.gif

Are there any strings people coming? If so then I'll bring my violin, but I would need easy music as I've not been playing long. smile.gif

I can think of at least a couple of stringy people coming Flossie. smile.gif

Potentially fairly stringy then. smile.gif If you've got a load of stuff to carry, I'm sure we can work out an easier way of getting you and your luggage from the station to the venue Appassionata than you having to lug the lot there yourself. smile.gif

If people do need a lift from the station then please let me know nearer the time and make a note of my mobile number to phone for a pick up when you arrive (it's only a mile from the venue).
At this time of year I can't be certain of having my own car but there will be people willing to help out. (what would I do without all my lovely support staff... biggrin.gif ).

For those who haven't yet decided what to play may I remind you that you have a little under 3 weeks to let me know please.

It might help to know that it's not flat.
It's not excessively steep but it IS uphill for about half of the journey.

Check out my post about transport (not far back from this one).

Applications now closed.
May I remind those who haven't yet let me know what they are playing or got their accompaniments to me to try to do thpse things in the next couple of days please.

Also if those people not travelling too far or by public transport would like to do a little baking this would be very welcome.
One of my helpers has to have gluten free so if anyone wants to use a gluten free recipe that would be very nice.

Can I have a show of hands for the meal afterwards please?
This doesn't commit you to going, it's just to get a rough idea of numbers.
The polace we used the last 2 years wasn't serving food last time we went so I think it will probably be Wetherspoons which is also not too far from the station. Convenient enough for those going for trains and also for us to retire to the buffet bar after the meal if there is sufficient interest (or even if only one or two want to go smile.gif).

As long as we're finished early enough for me to get my train. Can't rememeber what time the train is without looking, but it's the last train of the day back to the North East.
