I've just returned from holiday to find the forms are up on the website - I'd better print one off now and fill it in quick!

Oh dear - my computer is so slow at the moment, it won't let me on to the website to print off the application form. I think I'll have to do it tomorrow at work. I'm sorry our form is so delayed, Skylark.

Don't worry Chris..the closing date isn't until Saturday (25th). My form only went in the post yesterday.

Mine hasn't gone in the post yet. I realised yesterday that all my envelopes are in my office, which I can't access until the maintenance work is finished - so I think I might have to steal one from the secretaries office.

The sooner you can all get your forms to me the better as there seems to be a lot of duets to sort out, and I can't allocate slots to the duets/trios/quartets until I've received the forms from each member of the group.

I'm very tempted to put gold stars on the name labels for those people who send their form in early

I must get my form sorted out too. I seem to be really disorganised with the whole thing and need to catch up with all the threads. Sorry!

Skylark, I put my form in the post on Saturday, but just missed the collection time so it won't actually leave the postbox till today. I put a first class stamp on it though, so it should reach you tomorrow!

Please miss, my form was posted last week, and I filled it in properly with all my pieces and duets and ensembles, and I did remember to enclose a cheque. And I have agreed to sing in the choir. I really could do with a gold star to offset the naughty image that perhaps, maybe, I might have accidentally, inadvertently created with some of my posts on this thread.

I have a question about the choir...

I didn't put down that I was going to sing along or anything, but would I want to, how good would I have to be at singing?

I like singing (if I'm in tune I don't know..), I sang in the choir at school but I don't think I've ever sung from actual music... Does that make sense?

With me in the choir you will sound like an angel from heaven!

Thanks DaisyChain. I was intending to print the form off at work today, but had forgotten that I was teaching people about using the internet all morning, so didn't have time. I am doing it now though, and will get it in the post tonight.

So..........I don't suppose applications received before the weekend get two gold stars, do they??

I mean, I don't mind Miss, and it is up to you, but well.....I was just sort of wondering if it might be possible for anyone, that is, not anyone special like, but well, someone who did kind of take the trouble to get an envelope and stamp and rather quickly take it to the post office as soon as the form was available. The someone who did this could have done it so that perhaps it might be a help to that very nice lady who does all the organising for this wonderful event, which nobody in their right minds would want to miss.

Erm, you might like to know that I have never ever had two gold stars.
