You don't pout laugh.gif Well not that I've noticed anyway.

I wondered who the odd person was in the photo with DC. Is it really you?

Bearing in mind that you think the person is "odd" then let me ask you - what do you think? biggrin.gif

Did I say think? rofl.gif rofl.gif

Seriously tongue.gif it's a fine figure of a man on second glance. Reminds me of someone who wouldn't run off with me at Anglesey. I think he said something about preferring Great Aunt May rolleyes.gif

Great Aunt May.

wave.gif Can we do requests? I'd love to see another 6-handed piano trio from oldnotes, Panthera and mwl1 - great list to choose from on Digby's thread! biggrin.gif

Hi Flossie

It was great meeting you too! Providing I can access one (we hope to move down south soon), I'll definitely be back. Getting prepped for it now - bought a new bow yesterday and am doing the tentative toe-in-the-water thing with getting a new violin.

Cinema was great thanks - got 'dragged' along to see Sam Raimi's new offering ;-)

Hi Everyone,

Apologies if I am replying to the wrong part of the thread or anything - I'm totally unused to forums. I briefly attended the concert. Sorry I had to vanish off. How did it go?

I just thought I'd drop by to thank you again for making me - and Viola the purple violin - feel so welcome. I really enjoyed playing with you, and was really impressed at how good it sounded. I've only played with people who've been playing since well before I was born before - and I went home on a total high. You will be seeing me again at the next one, certainly!

One thing, if I may be so cheeky? I think I heard the string quartet who practiced after the main rehearsal doing a rather beautiful rendition of Canon in D - a rather stripped version that I loved. Any ideas where I can get a copy?

Thanks

Hello bob1purpleviolin. wave.gif

It was lovely meeting you on Saturday, and a shame that you couldn't stay longer.

I hope that you'll be able to come to another event smile.gif and I'll try not to keep bowing into you next time. laugh.gif (I am the person who was standing immediately to your left if you're confused about forum names).

Hope you had a nice time at the cinema, smile.gif

Thank you! Can't comment as don't have a clue about any of the pieces. Up for a suprise form the players though. Totally agree it was enjoyable last time.
oldnotes
Thanks for your kind comments, and the request. As soon as I have sight of the promised pieces I will contact Panthera and Mwl1 - I'm up for it.
The Old Lady
OH good. I really enjoyed the 6 hands one. biggrin.gif
