I feel a bit sheepish...and cheeky.....I just dived straight in a couple of weeks ago with a few replies and some requests to answer my survey for a research project.......then clicking around the forums, I arrived here. So I'm sorry for not coming here sooner!
I've had quite a long break away from teaching and studying music generally for all sorts of reasons, not least raising a family and moving house a few times. So this year, I enrolled on a Music Performance module to work towards a Certificate of Higher Ed. at The University of Sheffield to get the old brain cells working again. I hope to start private music teaching again from September.
I discovered these forums and feel very motivated and sometimes quite in awe of other people's achievements on here. It's a brilliant forum and I can spend HOURS just reading through threads and nodding in earnest!
One of these days I might muster up the courage to study for that degree that somehow I never got round to doing. I've left it a bit late, though!
