I just got back from a wonderful holiday break with my family only to learn that my entry for a music festival had not been received. sad.gif ph34r.gif
I had particularly made sure that I had the correct postage and sent it out from the post office.
Oh Boy! My son's music teacher must be so disappointed!
I suppose it is not much of a tragedy since he had done very well in a recent music festival (A distinction).
Anyway he has a lot on his plate this summer term and I am a little relieved that he doesn't have to compete with his classmate who happen to be in this competition. She is with an external music teacher.
We had a good time at the beach and look forward to him doing his violin Grade 2 this summer term. violin.gif

How badly does your son want to do this? If he is really keen, it may be that the organisers will take pity and let him enter anyway. Our local festival regularly puts in extra entries at the last minute if the class is not full.
