I referred to this work in another thread when I had heard it at the Wirral Festival.
I now have a copy (Its from Bartok's 'Out of doors' Suite).
It's written on three staves. The first left hand chord (and many subsequent ones) comprises playing five adjacent notes ( F F# G G# A) but the G is the note that is important so has to be accented. I cant get the hang of how to do this. ! Anyone played this work ?? HELP.!

Glad you found the music.

FRom your question I am guessing that the intuitive approach ius not working. (That is to say - imagining the G as louder than the rest until your subconscious figures out how to make the actual sound agree with your imagination - in the same way that you can bring out one part in a fugue by focussing your attention on the sound of that part - with no conscious change in what the fingers are doing).

John Meffen's "Improve Your Piano Playing" has a long section on how to practice giving different weights to different notes in a chord.
