Fear not liebie_klavier it's going to be the people that have done well that will post the rest are far less likely to post.
I have to say though that it is nice to see people comparing marks and thinking about doing well rather than the usual 'I got to grade 8 faster than you it doesn't matter what I got' the only thing that is dissapointing is that we have to have the ages to turn it into a race again....

if I'd done Grade 8 piano at 14 I'd be pleased with a pass! especially one as good as that... and Grade 8 merit singing at 16... most people don't even consider Grade 8 singing until they've left school...
some people work for years and years and don't get their grade 8 until their 20s or even later... my brother's cello teacher is a good example, she decided to wait before taking it and ended up with 148/150.
my point is that you can't really describe passing two grade 8s before you're old enough to vote as "only" a mere achievement.
be a bit more proud of yourself please.

To be honest the music exams I took proved to be the cause of a lot of self-consciousness problems later on and I wish I hadn't taken them. So I got certificates - so what? That doesn't automatically make me play better and I underwent a lot of stress when taking them. It's inadvisable to do three grades in a year - you just have to unpick what you did hastily later on. The reason was I didn't have a piano until I was 17 hence the eagerness to prove myself.
I did theory too... I can't remember what I got marks-wise but I got distinction in grades 1-5 - I actually really enjoyed theory!!!!!!!!!!
A big Well Done to all of you out there though, it's amazing to see the talent and motivation out there
