I was just wondering what grade most pianists usually were after you had been playing for 6 years.

For your information, i did exams (every year) for every grade for both piano and theory, so i got to grade 6 after 6 years, and i start learning quite late also, at the age of 9. I got to diploma after 9 years.

I am in Grade 7 practical...Grade 6 theory.

Hiya, I've been playing piano since october 2002 and took my grade three in june and got 134 and i'm now planning on taking grade 4 next term. so next year i hope to take grade 5/6 so by the time ive been playing for 6 yrs i hope to be grade 8 at least.
