Anyone in reach of Hants/Dorset border, 17th June, lunchtime? Free to get in, and you get to hear the Planyavsky that cropped up in discussions a few weeks ago. If you're coming, do come and say hi afterwards.

Sorry, a late plug but Dorset seaside tomorrow at 3pm? It may be the coolest place to be by the seaside if the weather forecast is to be believed!

Come to think of it, if there are any readers in Devon at a loose end tomorrow afternoon, I'm giving one myself at Paignton Parish Church at 2.30.

William Lloyd Webber - Solemn Procession
Bruhns - Praeludium in E minor [the longer one]
Bach - Nun komm, der Heiden Heiland BWV659
Gade - Tre Tonstykker
Greene - Voluntary no.1 in G major
Parry - Chorale Prelude on "St Cross"
Vierne - Clair de lune
Messiaen - Dieu parmi nous
Keyhorn
If anyone's in the Chippenham, Wilts., area on a Wednesday - there is a recital/concert series in the parish church (St Andrew's, SN15 3HT) on Wednesday lunchtimes (1.15pm) roughly fortnightly between April and October each year.

It is a series called "Music Unlimited", and is by no means limited to organ, or organ+1. There are concerts to suit all tastes, and it would be good to see and meet members of this board.

Details can be seen on the church's music website: www.choir.musicatchippenham.org.uk

I think this might be my first ever post in Viva Organ ohmy.gif , but last Wednesday (4th), I listened to an organ recital by Anthony Gritten in Exeter Cathedral, which I thought was very good smile.gif . I have loads of admiration for all of you who can find your way round an organ, it looks like a serious feat of co-ordination...
