does anyone know the easy version to the 1st part of the black notes (not sharps and flats, just black notes on stave, can't remeber what there called). Because i can play the first bit where the notes last for 2 beats but dont know the black bit. Also do u know if u have to play the chords WITH or just after the 2 beat notes at beggining.

ps. does cracking ur knucking damage ur piano playing in the future?

thats what my teacher told me but i just cant break the habit. she says it makes your knuckles bigger which would be trouble when playing tight chrods.

And I'm not a medic, but I heard that it can encourage arthritis of your finger joints - painful as well as inconvenient - not something you'd want !

Cracking your knuckles releases pressureised gases out of them or something. I'm told it shows a tendency to arthritis rather than being a cause. But then I'm not a medic either!

A nurse once told me it was synovial (sp?) fluid escaping from the joints althought I have heard about the compressed gases or something...

I've started taking cod liver oil to see if that helps it, although I just shouldn't do it.
