Hi everyone, I am trying to find Susan Hallam's book: "A practical guide to better teaching and learning" and apart from amazon cant find anywhere that sells it. Anyone have any ideas? Also it is for sale on amazon for £175! - is this correct? Thanks.

Yup, that price seems to be in line with other retailers. Have you considered the library?

You could always try one of her other books; 'Instrumental Teaching' is very good.

I tried to borrow the same title from the library only to find that it was out on loan - and had been since 2006!

Clearly the value of the book was not lost on the borrower who succumbed to temptation and half-inched it.

Rather than shell out 200 quid I have purchased a similar title by Janet Mills for considerably less.

Haven't read it yet so I can't vouch for its merits.
