I have been asked to write out in continuous prose for one of my TMA's and I also know that this question comes up in the exam. What exactly does this mean?

Sorry to be so dumb but it is a very long time since I was at school.

Thanks.

Umm.. in sentences and paragraphs, like you would write an essay. Not in bullet points, for example smile.gif
Flossie
Have a look at:

Northedge, Andrew. (1990) The Good Study Guide Milton Keynes: The Open Univerysity.
Bonnett, Alastair. (2001) How to argue: A student's guide Hemel Hempstead: Prentice Hall.

These are what I recommend to my first years when we look at writing skills (and to any stundents who are struggling with essay writing in later years).

I suspect that the OU book above has probably been revised by now, so the publication date I've given may be different to the version currently available. This is the book which I used to teach myself how to write essays (I did my Bachelors degree with the OU), and I got a first which means that I must have taught myself okay. smile.gif

Hope the essay goes well. smile.gif

Thanks for all that info Flossie, I actually plan to do a short essay course once I have finished the A214 before I start the level 3 course as that has a lot of essay work to do in it.
