Thanks for all your lovely posts, everyone. It means such a lot to know that we have all this warm and genuine support. Fiona sent me a text at about 2030 to say that they were running late, and she was next in line. I've not heard anything since then, so I assume she's in the recovery suite. Hopefully we'll hear something soon.

Have been away for a couple of days and only just found this. I do hope everything went well, and am thinking of you both. Please let us know as soon as there is some news. xx

Fiona sent me a text at 0131, which I didn't receive until I woke up () saying that she'd come round. Of course, she's still feeling somewhat post-operationish, but she doesn't feel sick with pain anymore. Thanks again for all your warm wishes.
