Sorry to bring down the mood, but I failed Grade 5 theory. (Snivvle, sniff, sob, sob). Got text from violin teacher - I got 60%, which I'm furious with myself about because I made three really idiotic and completely avoidable mistakes as a result of panic, (as opposed to lack of knowledge), and if I'd not made two of them (or possibly even just one) I'd have passed. Can't sit Grade 8 till March now...grrrrrrrrrrrr

I'm sure you'll panic much less next time, and you've lots of time to consolidate your knowledge so that you don't make so many mistakes on the retake.
Although it's frustrating to fail at the time, sometimes the end result is that you learn the stuff better and remember it for longer, which can be of benefit. I bet you'll get well over the pass mark next time, and delaying the grade 8 may mean that you do better in that too.
