Yes, there are loads of things I need to improve. I rushed through my flute grades and ended up having to re-learn everything so I am trying not to make that mistake again

. I think that having learned the flute
has helped with my breathing and fingering/co-ordination on the clarinet. I am really getting to grips with the instrument itself rather than the musical aspects of things, if that makes sense? Tongueing is one aspect on which I shall have to do some serious work!
I think I need the exam as motivation - one step further towards developing my technique and musicianship. Without something definite to work towards, I'm less likely to work on the things which need improving...
