You didn't tell us how the cello shopping went! Did you buy or rent? Did you go to Malcolm Tysoe? I'm rather impressed with them at the moment as I needed valuations on 2 instruments for insurance purposes - one we bought from them and one they replaced the bridge, so they have seen them both. I thought I would have to drive over with them, but they are sending the valuation by e-mail, which makes life that bit easier.
We await news of your lesson with impatience! - I'm guessing it's not until this evening
For the time being, I'm going to borrow a 'cello from one of the schools I teach in. I have my eye on several instruments, but can't make a decision yet!
