How did everyone find the edexcel gcse music paper this year and what sections did you find particularly difficult if any?

I had no idea what I was doing on the last page, and had to guess some questions since I got no chance for revision classes or anything.
Was having a good time dancing in my head to Blur's Song 2 though haha!

I did the edexcel Music GCSE Exam last year it sounds like yours was exactly like mine. It was very difficult in parts I would not worry to much as your coursework will count towards your overall grade.

I thought I did horribly but in the end I opened the GCSE envelope and suprised that I had got a B in it.

This is a little late but... I really enjoyed the exam! It was amazing to be part of a 30 strong air drumming group when song 2 came on haha. I found the question on Musicals the most difficult and hated the song; why couldn't it have been Mr. Mistoffelees?! Haha. I also thought the question on African Music was tricky and quite unusual. But I thought the paper in general wasn't too bad. I really want to find that fusion piece from the last question though! I've never heard anything like it before this exam... I put that it was a fusion of American Big Band/Jazz and Indian Classical, I've only ever come across Banghra as a fusion on the exams before though. I was surprised that there was no dance music or Indian classical music but ah well. I'm sure we'll all have done tip top! Fingers crossed for everyone!

p.s. Is there anyone still hovering about this thread to discuss actual answers and stuff with or am I too late and everyone's over it? haha.

I'm too scared to discuss answers, and forced most of the questions outta my mind by now anyway..
