I am learning to play the trumpet and would like to try playing some real easy songs. I would appreciate it if anyone could suggest some very elementary songs that I might could learn to play on my trumpet.

you could try buying a book called team brass which contains all sorts of music with learning tips aswell. you could also buy books like a tune a day, all jazzed up or the book of first solos for trumpet.

THERE ARE MANY RECCOMENDED BOOKS BUT YOU CAN ALSO HAVE SOME LUCK ON THE INTERNET - IT'S GENERALY EASIER TO FIND EASY MUSIC THAN HARD MUSIC

Good book for easy tunes definately recommended. Slightly harder is "the music of Jim Parker" with stuff like "Ground Force" some songbooks from les mis or Andrew Lloyd Webber (they're the ones I've got) are quite easy or can be easily adapted.
