Thought I would give myself a break. I have been working on my 4th assignment for my OU A214 course. It is really giving me a headache! I only have a few days left to complete it and yet still so far to go. This one is just so hard, goodness knows what TMA 05 will be like!!!

I have to find landmarks when listening to the pieces, I would find it much easier if I could just look at what is happening in the music rather than having to listen for the landmarks whilst following the score!

One question I have to reduce a score of 5 lines on to 2. I think I know what I am doing there, but the print is so small and it seems to be taking me an age!!!

It is such a lovely day outside, I think I will take my work (now that I have finished the video side of it) and sit in the garden for an hour before my son comes home from school. Maybe my thinking will be clearer outside? Then it is charge off out for his flute lesson.

You have my empathy, ET. I remember this particular TMA very well. Don't forget you can ask your tutor for an extension of a few days if you don't feel it will be ready in time. Rather that than rush it.

What course are you doing Sandy? You have obviously only just started it? Will it give my mind a rest or more of a headache? Actually I decided that I would do some piano practise instead. Got to take my son to his flute lesson later so I will have another go at it then.
