I've just recieved a package from the British Kodaly Academy with musicianship teaching materials publised by Meredith Squires Publications. They're fantastic and I can't wait to use them. The rhythm flashcards are organised in sets for each rhythm unit, in simple time and compound time, and there must be over 100 flashcards in the Pitch Reading Cards. I love the little sets of individual cards in the Musicianship Kit and the children in my year 1 class loved using them in dictation activities.
Has anyone used these cards? Any other ideas?
