Hi singers,
I am thinking of taking the grade 8 piano accompanying exam and I will probably ask my tenor friend to sing. I want to ask your opinion that which pieces are more suitable for tenor voice. IF possible please let me know about the piano parts so i know which ones to avoid tongue.gif

' Love's Philosophy' isn't exactly a walk in the park either. I can only play this up to speed with some judicious editing. Perhaps you should also consult your soloist. I have yet to hear a tenor sing either 'Hark, the ech'ing air' or the Britten 'Cradle Song' but, of course, that's not to say they couldn't be done. Do you choose just one from each list?
