Many years ago I used this book myself - volume 1 (preliminary and primary) only and I've bought it for some of my pupils. But I need to look for a book of exercises to replace dozen a day for a grade 4 - 5 pupil and I wondered whether anyone had any experience of the higher volumes (my copy says there are 4 volumes).

Any thoughts welcome.

Great books, these. I use them for almost every student and they love them. I use the dozen a day books alongside these, and then Czerny 101 exercises.

Thanks to both of you - I shall go and order some from the music shop now - I thought it was perhaps unlikely that they would have these books on the shelf so that's why I asked for some views.
