Hope people don't mind me sharing a bit of personal success on here.....

I have been beavering away the last few weeks on some playing myself in preparation for an audition that took place yesterday. Although I was as nervous as anything, I managed to pull off three reasonable performances and, hooray! was accepted onto the course! Phew! I can relax now!

Awwww thanks everyone! It was for an MMus course. The tricky bit was proving to the panel that I was worthy of taking my Principle Study in piano performance. I was extremely nervous as I played my pieces from memory - something I haven't done since I was 12 - and I thought I would go blank and forget all the notes! Well, it didn't go without a few stumbles but I think overall I pulled it off. Just need to work out how I'm going to pay for doing this course. It is Part time over 2 years so at least I'll be able to keep the majoriity of my students....just lots to organise now, but very exciting!
