Misterioso
Having concentrated more, although not exclusively, on the early grades so far in my teaching career, my repertoire for Grades 4-5 seems to be a bit on the thin side. Any suggestions?

Violin, by the way.....

Many thanks! smile.gif

What I remember of my repertoire at that time...

*Rieding Concerto in B minor (feels really cool to be able to play a whole "concerto" tongue.gif)

*Kuchler Concertino (in G??) in the style of Vivaldi

*Slow movement from Vivaldi's Winter - sure I murdered this one but at the time it was definitely my favourite piece I'd played so far. It came from a Sheila Nelson book called 'The Baroque Violinist', which also had some other good stuff in it, and there's also 'The Classical Violinist' and 'The Romantic Violinist' at the same level.

*Handel Sonata in F major

*Carl Bohm Spanish Dance

*Paradis Sicilienne

*Elgar Chanson de Matin

*Fiocco Allegro - officially I think this has been grade 6 but I played it way before I did grade 5

I also started the Bach Double at this stage. I loved it and it got me practising, although it must have sounded awful!

Hope that helps. smile.gif

Thanks for that, Rosie91. Looking through your list makes me think I have more repertoire than I thought I had, as I too did a handful of these when I was at that stage. But you've given me some more ideas as well - many thanks!
