Hello!

The above forumites will be performing in York on Saturday 14th November 2009, at the Friends Meeting House, York (same place as the playday earlier in the year), at 1pm.

It will feature vocal, piano, violin and clarinet music, and combinations of these instruments.

If you're around then, we'd love to see you there.

If I can you're welcome to another taxi ride I'll have to see what's happening around that weekend but I really do have *tonnes* of holiday to take from work so can do pretty much what I like from here up until Christmas.

On the Friday night we have Abney orchestra playing in Mossley.

It's the Royal Northern sax day on the Sunday, so it's highly likely I'll take up your offer of staying on the west side of the Pennines sbhoa, and may well be around for Abney too

I've offered the same. What area would you cover Mwl1?? I'd though one at the meeting house itself it that's allowed, One in Banks, One at any of the second hand music places like Stone Trough Books. I can also take one to band and the musicshop in Pocklington as well as let a few friends around here know about it. My printer is dead though so I might need some paper copies sending please.

I'll be there on the day too. Looking forward to it. I'm sure you'll all be FAB!!!

Dawn, I was planning to hit all the places you suggested. Maybe I could do the centre of York stuff and you could do Pocklington, as you said? Sorry I appeared not to be interested before - I forgot to keep track!

I can do them if you prefer. (I'm 10 million times more organised than him )

Oh sorry, seem to have missed a couple of posts here. Well today I "hit" York and have left posters at Banks, The Library and the Quaker meeting Place. I didn't see any up in any of these places. Hope that's ok

I'll also try to "do" Pocklington and our local library (SB) and village board/s

Oldnotes has also taken a few to distribute in Pocklington : The arts centre and the music shop, and also at Stonetrough books in York and Scarborough library. So they are getting out there

I thought I wouldn't be able to go to this as had something else on that day - which has now been rearranged for another day! So, all being well, I will be able to come to this now.
