Coming home from a Chas & His Band concert in Blackheath. Amazing!
I met Chas and he told me to keep "plonking away"

He played his own version of Liszt's Hungarian Rhapsody #2 in amongst a song which was brilliant

How the ###### did people of that generation learn to play so well? I know that my nan learned by ear, but without sheets, I just can't comprehend how they got so good..

Chas is a very much better pianist than many people give him credit for : he's exceedingly good!

Yes, definitely, I was really impressed, he makes it look so easy.

Danny Baker was there as well and he did the intro for the 2nd half. Really glad I went although I have a sore head this morning from too much booze.

Wow! Certainly sounds like it would rival Merlin - though yesterday's episode was rather good. Not as good as some of the others, but hey... next week Mordred is coming back!
