Teaching a new pupil who I was quite impressed with. She has almost mastered 1st finger on G, D and A string in her 1st ever violin lesson. her bow hold was almost perfect without me having to alter anything.

Syringing some warm water into my little dog. She has trapped wind and sore tummy and the only way to ease the cramps is a little warm water to get her system moving (as advised by the vet).

Then she needs to eat something and refused her biscuit so HAD to have a little morsel of quiche laugh.gif

She's fine now and all smoochy again wub.gif (she's the one on my profile biggrin.gif)

I just signed myself up for an extremely tedious, not at all educational summer job... I probably should have looked into more opportunities, but I was so surprised that anyone would be willing to hire me, let alone on the spot, that I just said yes, because I really wanted the money... On the upside, the people seem nice/interesting, even if the work isn't great? unsure.gif

I love Lefevre and Mozart too.

I've said this before, it's nice to be playing some stuff that I've heard other people play.

Was playing clari, yes the Lefevre and Mozart, before logging on here biggrin.gif

Oh I so know what you mean. I was shouting at the kids... this is the first day at home with just mummy with nothing particular to do... fortunately also the last day!!!

Now, is it my fault that the older one decided to abandon writing his holiday diary on about day 3 and now has a lot of catching up to do? It's all in aid of improving writing skills whilst also having something to show off when he goes back, so win-win I'd say! He did do a lovely watercolour of the pyramids, though.

And when I log off I'm going to have coffee and chocolate - a LOT of chocolate judging by the screams...

There were a couple of bits from the book of orange yes! Plus all the other stuff I've been set blink.gif Had a go at the Rondo too, couple of sticky bits but I think it'll be ok for Stalybridge. Will ask teacher on Friday, see what he thinks (especially as we haven't even looked at Sonata 1 yet!)

Been clearing out child no 3's room for past 2 days! She left primary education last year and it's sad clearing out all the books etc that she won't read again but we've read loads and loads! Also, we've been clearing out old toys that have been passed down from the others.... but we really don't need any more! I now have boxes of books for the junior school/ infant school/ bags of old school uniform/ music club t shirts/ dancing class stuff etc to pass on!
