Filling up the paddling pool!!! It's a big one so still filling.

I want to live where you live! laugh.gif

Well, Forum trip to France then - you and Cyrilla jump on a plane - and anyone else who fancies hot weather, pretty rivers and great pastries (although it's only 32 today) - and I shall ensure a plentiful supply of lovely food and drink upon arrival!

Forum trip is an excellent idea - I declare that there shall be much fiddlin', drinkin' of local wine, eatin' of pastries and - just for Cyrilla - a guided trip around the local shop that made those chocs (perhaps with a small kilo or two of taste samples too - just to see us 'til a fab dinner)...

Yes, well he's had a couple of days working in the East End in boiling weather - he says it's been quite an eye opener. Hopefully it will teach him what happens if you spend more than you've got!

Fact is, so many people don't realise that you have no obligation to open the door to them. They aren't allowed to force entry (but can, however enter through say an open door or window). Not that I've been or plan to ever be in a position where I have to deal with Bailiffs!

Unless there's an accompanying Police Officer with a warrant/court order, you can politely tell them to do one tongue.gif

Well Solari, as you know, there are two types of train on the lines round our way, and this was one of the newer ones. The heating was on, and the windows could only open a tiny way. That is called, apparently, progress. Well done, Southeastern Trains... rolleyes.gif

The annoying thing is, if no-one opened the windows on the new type of train, it'd actually be OK as they have air-con (well it seems to work on some of them!) tongue.gif It also infuriates me when people open all the windows on those trains with no consideration to hay-fever sufferers! biggrin.gif

The air con on the Aldershot line trains is so much better than the ones around our way, however smile.gif
