I've just handed my car keys over to the garage for them to service my car. I've now made myself at home with a cup of coffee in their waiting area and I've brought a theory book to read whilst I'm here.

How about everyone else smile.gif

Picking my ill daughter up from school and having to cancel/move lots of teaching and wondering how I'm now going to fit it all into what was supposed to be a reasonable week! And we've got exams at the end of it!

That's a long way to go just for 3.5 weeks sad.gif It hardly seems worth it! If he's backpacking then that's nowhere near enough time...

It's a school trip, and he'll mostly be around Darwin, having had a quick stop around Alice Springs (in time for the camel racing) and Uluru. Sleeping under the stars, canoing, bathing in hot springs - three weeks at home or three weeks doing that, I guess he's happy enough smile.gif

Watching Wimbledon with a cup of tea, and checking forums/emails/etc, and thinking I should reeeeally have a shower and get dressed, but it's difficult when you're not allowed to weight bear on one leg, and seems like so much effort in this heat!

Just got home from school, and have solidified in our nice cool house (no idea why it's always so cold- no fans, air con. etc) after melting all day long at school.

Apparently it will be 32 degrees tomorrow... and that's outside. I don't know what it's going to be like up on the third floor in maths, 31 kids all sweating like mad with BO (luckily no boys though...) no breeze because the blinds come over the open windows rolleyes.gif Plus I've got to dress up as captain hook- black jazz pants, white shirt, shorts, long white socks, and a big red thick winter coat. I'm going to roast.

You really should improve your posture, or get a better piano stool. I know some-one who ignored all advice on the subject and ended up with a serious operation on her back.

I was teaching, and then quickly rushed out to get all the washing in because it started to thunder and I thought it might rain.

It's so banal - washing up and making a pot of tea. I had my piano lesson this afternoon, though, and came out feeling unusually positive... exam in a fortnight!
