So who is your favourite composer and why????

Don't have a favorite in anything in life I think, but I do LOVE:

Sarasate
Paganini
Bazzini
(these 3 having done some fantastic music for violin which has lots of 'fun technique' which I wonder if I will ever be able to learn!!)

Rossini
(don't know why, just love his music!)

Mozart
('cos he was a 'bit mad' laugh.gif )

Bach
(mmm not sure why)

Beethoven
(because of some of his powerful music, don't know how to express it blush.gif )

Schubert
(because of his 'romantic side')

I think I'll stop there before I run out of pages laugh.gif
karslima
Prokofiev and Rimsky-Korsakov for romantic music that is interesting without being slushy

Bach for brain music

Britten because he is so versatile and I can actually understand the words of his operas
fsharpminor
Bach, Beethoven and Shostakovich
Jacobi
Brahms, Dvo?ák, Beethoven, Schubert

Well they are my top four anyhow going on the number of pieces of music I own by different composers!
Claudia's Mum
Faure, Franck, Ravel and Debussy - don't know why, just love the music especially the chamber music.
