Does anyone know when the exam results for tour B are due? I sat grade 3 piano last December and the results came out just over a week after the tour finished. Is that normal? I'm getting nervous!

When did you take your exam, and with which board? ABRSM exam results normally take between 2 and 4 weeks to come out. Sometimes it varies, depending on whether you receive them by post or by email/phone, or if it was a special visit (eg with a school), it could be different. I don't know about TG.

Thanks. I sat grade 4 piano on 26 June (ABRSM). I've only sat 3 exams so far so I haven't been able to figure out if there is a pattern yet in relation to timing of the results. I should get my results by email and as I'm not confident about passing I'm trying to decide which day I should stop checking emails and just wait for a small envelope!

Experience shows that email notification of online results being up doesn't always arrive or arrives after you have the result in the post.
I wouldn't normally start checking the online results before 10 days.
Also the online result is only there when the paper one in is the post so in many cases it's only one day in advance.
Good luck.

My daughter had her flute result this morning in her lesson (Merit). Exam was 2 weeks ago on the friday (19th?) That is pretty much the quickest we have experienced, so maybe they are trying to improve the service.
Last year her Piano result took weeks. She took it beginning of July and was still waiting in August. I was beginning to think the teacher had the result and hadn't texted because we were on holiday and he didn't want to ruin the holiday with news of a fail. (she did pass, but due to nerves on the day it was a only by a few marks)

I had my practical on the 1st and my results came through, so I wouldn't expect that you'd be waiting long

To add to the grade 3 flute merit that I mentioned above my daughter got her piano result today. Grade 4 LCM Merit. Only 2 marks off a distinction. The examiner commented that she only played the chromatic one octave both contrary and similar! Sounds like he gave her a second chance.

Think it's about 10days for results to appear online if you/your teacher (the applicant) has access to this. Then anything from 2 to 4/5 weeks for postals. Plus it depends if your teacher is through school (I don't know if you're still at school or not...) as they may not tell you until they see you in september...harsh but some do do that. I'm lucky, mine doesn't...
good luck anyways

Results are not online until the paper version is in the post so there should normally be only a day or two difference.

This time, one batch of mine arrived by post four days before they appeared online...
