Going to get my stitches taken out at the surgeon's office (eek) - not looking forward to that and I predict that he will prescribe a large dose of something soothing to make up for it.
By him, I mean me of course. And by 'large dose of something soothing' I obviously mean 'big slice of cake and a frothy cup of coffee on a terrace by the river'. But the idea is the same.
Lottie - I feel sick at how organised you are... the christmas market stalls have begun setting up in certain parts of the town here and I'm feeling that 'I'm not organised enough' panic setting in...

Rosfrog - you remind me of how, after a visit to the dentist, I always have to cross the road to the cake shop and buy a doughnut.
Even after a polish. Indecent really.
Good luck with the stitches - hope they are painless.

But you see Maggiemay - look at it this way.
If we didn't buy cake after a visit to the dentist, then they wouldn't have anything to do and they would go out of business. Do you want a homeless dentist's family eating out of bins on your conscience ? I don't.
We're martyrs, really....
Thanks for the good wishes!

Give Mrs S a lift to the dentist (mug up on theory terms in the waiting room), call at the poultry feed place to get some layers pellets, go over to the supermarket for a few vitals, then home for lunch. Then prepare for theory exam later this afternoon.
And today is supposed to be a day off!
