I'm looking for a decent Duet Book for a post gr1 player which will be fun as well as developing technique a bit over the summer whilst lessons have ceased...
The local music shop is stacked with duet books but it is always hard to discern if any given volume is going to be appropriate or not...
Any recommendations? Thanks!!

I wonder whether Mixed Doubles from the Oxford Piano Time series would fit the bill?
I'm looking at book2: if it's more along the lines of the pupil exploring unaided, book 1 might be more suitable - but I haven't got a copy to hand, so can't check the level.
(ed I did rather assume it's for a child - if not, may not be suitable!)

Piano Time Jazz Duets by Pauline Hall are good fun (book one)

I have
Alan Haughton Fun club duets g0-1 (I've used this a lot with one post G1 pupil who appears to only want easy things and seems to manage one practice session a week, but at least he smiles when we do them)
Martha Mier jazz, rags and blues duets vol 1
Mike Cornick First concert duets (easiest ones can be just about learned in one lesson)
Kember on the lighter side 10 christmas carols (fun for the teacher)
Seiber Easy dances - most too difficult for yr G1 pupil
