In the section between bars 181 and 197, more specifically bar 192, I am having trouble with finding a fingering that works well. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated smile.gif thanks!

I'm very happy to help but don't have bar numbers on my copy - any way you can describe the passage, or post a youtube clip and tell me where on the clip is the passage you mean?

I've looked and I can't find where you mean exactly. The bars I think [u]you mean (the solo passage sandwiched between 5 and 2 bars of orch is only 12 bars long. That can't be it...Can it ? dry.gif

aaah sorry i knew nobody would know where i meant, i'm so bad at explaining myself! but yes iona i think that's the bit i mean. just in case:

3:02 is that section
and 3:10 is the specific bar i meant (last 3 bars of that bit)

Changed my mind dry.gif

Assuming we're in the same place smile.gif (and taking it from the bar beginning on the G) My suggestion is:

1 (acc 1) 3 (appogg 23 )212 shift back to 1 on F# 2 3 , shift up to 1 for the Bb at beginning of next bar, and repeat throughout. I would then probably just extend the 3 for that final E natural.

What have you tried so far?
natnatcello
well that makes a lot more sense than what i was trying to do! i'm rubbish at working out fingerings, even when there's a simple solution staring me in the face sad.gif oh well! thanks so much i will try that and see if it works for me!
