Can anybody help me - I've tried to archive my messages (as my folder is full) but the email I subsequently get is all garbled. Does the archive function not work? I remember doing it in the past and it did...

I'm on Mac and my message archive function has never worked - I just get garble like you've got. Although if it's worked in the past for you, I'm not sure why it wouldn't now, unless it's to do with the ABRSM switchover a couple of months ago. When they did the switchover, the symbols in people's signatures got garbled, and even the ABRSM's own Rules page got a bit messed up. Not sure if that's the reason though

When you archived, did you choose HTML as the format? The only garbled bit about that is that they come in a strange order, the algorithm for which I have not yet determined .

When we performed at Dunster Castle at the same time last year, we wore warm clothing because National Trust properties have to keep the temperature pretty low. So I was thinking the same again - smartish, but warm. Unless anybody wants to get dressed up in concert gear...

I went to The Old Lady's house today for a run-through of our duets, and as I left we arranged to meet on the day of Dyrham at 8.30 am for the drive down. Bev said with a knowing smile "What will you be wearing?"

So, I trawl through unread posts, looking for interesting musical items, and spot this one. Recital eh? But upon reading the last few posts, what do I get but useful suggestions on what saucy underwear to buy my better half this Christmas!

...before the pyjama party was organised Perhaps you are not aware that Daisy, The Old Lady, Skylark and I form what is known as "The Naughty Team" (I really can't remember why ) so we have a dis-reputation to keep up (or should that be down?)

Well it was a great day. Thanks Skylark for organizing it.
Everyone played beautifully in the Great Hall and the Orangery.
THe visitors seemed to enjoy the music, one or two sitting down for a longer listen
My friends turned up to wander through,and my Barry and the girls. Kate even tried the Bechstein
What a lovely way to spend a day.
As for the pub meal after.............great place, lovely food.
Funny thing was, I didn't see a pair of PJs all day
