Hi. I am currently playing Chaconne in D by J.S. Bach arr. Bosoni. Actually, I have heard some pianist playing that and they have different expression on the first phrase. We can see that the left hand suddenly conducts the main melody on that, but should we change back to right hand to play the main melody and let the left hand play the accompaniment?

If you also playing that piece, you are welcome to share how you play in the above mentioned part. Thanks a lot!

I can't resist playing the melody with my rh during the opening. This allows me to make a big sound that sings through the accompaniment, without having to spread any of the chords.
