Hi all,
I am hoping for some advice on how to take my study forward. I am new to my area (Swindon) and although I have had vocal lessons on and off over the years using various methods I have never studied voice full time. I am a cellist (G8) and work as a semi-pro vocalist, mainly jazz/swing. I have studied vocal science and am a good singer technically with a nice tone, with a good understanding of the voice. I would like to teach but have no formal vocal qualifications. I am 26 with two children so Un.i isn't an option at the moment.
I don't know how to source a good teacher locally to put me through my paces with the intention of taking graded vocal exams then a ABRSM Dip. in teaching. Is this a good route? What other options are available to me andcan anyone recommend a good teacher please?
Thank-you in advance,
