A pupil of mine and I are currently considering the Grade 8 pieces on the TG syllabus. I'm not familiar with many of them (I know more of them on the AB syllabus but the pupil doesn't have his g5 theory), so was wondering if anyone had any suggestions/recommendations?

I already know the Milhaud Scaramouche as a a different pupil of mine studied it for her diploma, and the Holcombe Blues Concerto. If it helps, for his grade 7 he played the Debussy "Dance Bohemienne", 3rd mvt of the James Rae Sonatina, and Party Time & Reel Time from Streetbeats... he likes dramatic music and definitely finds the musicality side easier than the technical.
