In the last few weeks I've started practising flute again after not being able to for well over a year (closer to two!)

I've been playing some old pieces, and made a couple of recordings so I can have a listen and a slightly more detached idea of how my playing is holding out and what areas most need work.

If anyone would be willing for me to email you files to have a listen and make constructive comments about the good the bad and the ugly, I'd be very grateful. I can't get to my teacher at the moment so any impartial and helpful thoughts would be highly valued.

Should warn in advance that the recordings are variable - I think it'll probably be very clear me exclaiming "Oh b*m!" in the middle of one of them!

Not very with it - it's just occurred to me that the files might be a bit large *headdesk*

Please let me know if you have any problems - I hope that you guys are on broadband and it won't cause a problem... but I;m sure that I can find some way of reducing the file size if necessary... or find someone who can tell me how!

Just wanted to say a huge thank you to all of you who offered via PM or on this thread, and has given so far so much useful help and encouragement. It means a lot and I am very grateful!

I have three recordings and having a few problems with my email, I think I've caught up to everyone but I'm not sure - so if you wanted to listen and only have one or two please feel free to poke me... I will make my email cooperate eventually!
